JSC “OGK-6” is carrying out investment activity along the following lines:

−                  implementation of large-scale investment projects;

−                  updating the existing industrial facilities.

Modernization of the Existing Industrial Facilities

According to the JSC “OGK-6” investment program plan for 2008 the company was expected to use capital investments for medium- and small-scale projects in the amount of 2,903,126.2 thousand rubles (excluding VAT). Acceptance reports were signed for 2,892,381.2 thousand rubles or 99.6%.

Among the most important investment program projects are reconstruction of TFRM-500 current transformers, reconstruction of smokestack No. 2 at Ryazanskaya GRES, reconstruction of OSG – 110 kV electric facilities with installation of an automatic transformer and reconstruction of the water treatment plant (Chemical Treatment Plant-2) at Kirishskaya GRES, reconstruction of power unit No. 7 at Novocherkasskaya GRES and reconstruction of the fuel feed tunnel at Cherepovetskaya GRES.
