About the company

 As contribution to the authorized capital stock of JSC "OGK-6", RAO UES of Russia, as the sole founder, contributed stakes in four stations: Novocherkassk SDPP OJSC, Kirishi SDPP OJSC, Ryazan SDPP OJSC and Krasnoyarsk SDPP-2 OJSC. In the second quarter of 2006 the authorized capital stock will be completed with shares in Cherepovetsk SDPP OJSC and SDPP-24 OJSC. At present JSC "OGK-6" is the sole executive body of six power stations: Novocherkassk SDPP OJSC, Kirishi SDPP OJSC, Ryazan SDPP OJSC, Krasnoyarsk SDPP-2 OJSC, Cherepovets SDPP OJSC. The total installed capacity of the stations amounts to 9,162 MW. The powers of the sole executive body were delegated to JSC "OGK-6" on the basis of contracts concluded with all the stations. The assets to be included in JSC "OGK-6" were selected in accordance with the principles which are common for all wholesale generating companies and which are fixed in legislation of the Russian Federation. First of all, all WGCs were created in accordance with the extra-territorial characteristic: they combined stations situated in different parts of the country  

This excludes anyone possibility for monopoly of a certain company within a certain region.

1) In addition, upon creation of the WGCs, a such consideration was taken into: starting conditions were to be equal for all the companies. Thus, the creation of wholesale generating companies ensured the foundation for the healthy competition in the area of the power production. JSC "OGK-6" is the second company in terms of the amount of the installed capacity among the created heat wholesale generating companies.
